Synopsis:
Some deep space miners check out some strange planet. They find some strange thing attached to their friends face and it turns out to be an alien. Then all hell breaks loose. Yum yum dim sum.

Review:
This is my favourite of the four films. It has some of the most memorable scenes in movie history. Let's not forget the alien popping out of the that dudes chest. Now most people believe that aliens is the best film, but I beg to differ. Aliens is a great film but the thing that makes alien better is the 70's panties that Ripley sports at the end of the film. Now dats what I'm talking about.

Special Features :
This disc was full of features and it's disappointing how the features just get thinner and thinner with the other discs in the set. But lets just talk about this disc. The commentary with Ridley Scott was great. He definitely has a lot to say about the film and he adds a ton of background information. You can tell that Scott really wanted to make a great disc.

The deleted scenes were a bit of a waste. The galleries were great especially if you like H.R. Giger work. The Isolated score was great to listen to and so was the alternate music track even though they really shouldn't fuck with shit like that.

One thing that stands out is the menu system. It is one of the best that I've seen. The screensaver was pretty cool and a nice little feature. But the web links weren't necessary.

Video:
The Video for this disc was fantastic. It is after all a 20 year old film. The film keeps the ultra wide aspect ratio that it was originally shot in. The picture is sharp, clear and the colours come out great.

Audio:
Another Dolby Digital 5.1 masterpiece. Sounds our moving around you and creeping the fuck out of you.
