Synopsis:
A pathetic little ant gets mixed up in a lot of crazy shit. From searching for "Insectopia" to stopping the Hitler-esque General Mandible.

Review:
Personally, I love computer-animated movies. This movie came out around the same time as "A Bug's Life". So they get compared to each other a lot. Well let me settle the argument once and for all. This is the better movie. Why? Cuz Disney didn't put this movie together, that's why.

There was a ton of voice talent in this movie and it really helped. Woody Allen is his ol' self in this movie (insert child porn joke here). Stallone, Sharon Stone, Hackman, Lopez and Walken were all fucking money. There was even some really cameos by Danny Glover and Dan Akroyd. It really turns into a movie for an older crowd with so much great acting in it.

I love how they've turned Hackman into this crazy General. He was almost an ant Hitler. Which means the movie had Nazis, which (as my friend Nicky Eyes pointed out) makes the movie a keeper. It really does, the army scenes are very reminiscent of Nazi marches. A little scary yes, but I never said kids should watch this movie. Or maybe I'm reading into this far too much.

This is a ton of stuff on this disc. DreamWorks really put together a money DVD. The Trailer and production Notes were ok. The production featurette was great to watch. The basics of computer animation and facial system were very informative and fun to watch.

The transfer was fantastic. Super sharp and vibrant. Everything comes out crystal clear.

Audio:
5.1 to boot! This mofo was done up with a lot of style. The boys over at DreamWorks did it up.
