Review:
Ok lets face it. Die Hard didn't win any awards, fact is most people hate these movies. I still think that in the right light this is a fun film to watch. Not the best of the three but I would put it second to the first Die Hard. Sammy J. helps this one out big time.

Bruce Willis is great. I know he got a little typecasted as a tough guy, but fuck that he knows how to play the role. You just can't help but like his character, guy down on his luck turned into a hero by accident. He's a victim of circumstances, nyuk nyuk nyuk.

That's how this has to be viewed. You're just there for the ride. Don't weigh me down with a huge plot and elaborate twists. Just give me a fun two hours and let me get on with my day. I hope this doesn't sound like I'm making excuses for this film cuz it can hold it's own.

The chemistry between the two main actors Sammy J. and Bruce is great. I still think Irons looks like a bit of a poof, but you can't have everything. He does play a pretty badass mother fucker though. Just watch the mofo you'll like it.

Special Features :
The audio commentary is well put together you can tell that the people aren't in the same room. But there are only a few silent pauses. There are times that they nearly finish each others thoughts which I thought was a little creepy. It was very informative but I gotta admit it gets a little boring.

All the TV Specials are pretty much a 22-minute trailer for the film. After you see the first one the rest are pretty much the same. The only difference is that they are all hosted by different people. One of them is even host by Sammy J., damn mother fucker most of loved dis movie at the time.

The making of featurette is only 8 minutes and it's just a shorter version of the TV Specials. Nothing to go home and spluge over. The storyboard sequences were great and well worth the time, so was the special effects breakdowns. They really show everything and it's cool to check it all out.

The interview with Willis is cool it also includes a profile. It's not too long but enough to keep you happy.

Video:
The transfer is very clean. Mind you the film isn't that old, but still they could have screwed it up. The bit rate is high and there are no visible artifacts. Oh and the explosions look fucking great.

Audio:
I only listened to the Dolby Digital 5.1 track and I didn't find it that amazing. I found that the center channel was too low so that you have to crank the volume up. Resulting in your ears bleeding when there is an explosion. The same can be said for the audio commentary track it just seemed to quite.

"Yeah Zeus, as is father of Apollo, Mount Olympus? Don't fuck with me or I'll shove a lightning bolt up your ass Zeus! You got a problem with that?" - Zeus (Sammy J.)
