Synopsis:
A modern re-telling of the classic Dickens novel.

Review:
I got to be honest with you; I haven’t read the Dickens book so I don’t know how close to the original text this movie is. That said, I liked this movie a lot. I kind of think of it as an anti-“Titanic” love story, or put another way, a love story for those of us that didn’t find spitting over the railing of a ship charming (I couldn’t wait for that huge vessel to go down, and I’m not talking about Kate Winslet in the back of car).

I guess what I liked most about this movie was that in the end love conquered all. And that even though the Finn character had to go through a monumentus amount of shit to get what he wanted, when he finally did get the girl he said that it was all worth while (I’m starting to cry on my keyboard).

Of course I gotta give props to my man Bobby D for a bang-up job in his supporting role, and Ethan and Gwenith in their roles. Whomever it was that cast these actors did a great job.

Special Features :
Guess what? There are none. Just trailers for this movie and a hand full of other romantic comedies and romantic dramas. So if you have any great expectations for some worth while special features, you’re shit out of luck (I’m sorry for that lame joke, but with a title like this you have to expect at least one).
