Synopsis:
A convicted killer is given a choice between becoming a bad-ass secret government assassin or death.

Review:
This movie is cool. Great action, great story, and a hot French chick. What else do you need?

Well in all honesty, the film could have done with better editing in some scenes. Its a little ruff around the edges, but its one of Besson's first film, so its excusable.

Anne Parillaud is a major hottie, although she looks a little skanky in the beginning, but she cleans up real, real nice by the end.

It must be noted that Hollywood made a remake of this film called Point of No Return. They even asked Besson to direct it, to which he asked "why would I want to make the same movie twice?" The American version sucked big time.

Special Features :
All you get with this disc are the theatrical trailer and productions notes. Which fucking blows. But this isn't a mainstream movie, so it was kind of expected.

Video and Audio:
The video transfer on this film wasn't the best. It's not that there's anything in particular wrong with it, it's the source. Its the film stock the transfer was made from. But this is a foreign film, and that's what it looks like.

You're given some choices when it comes to the audio, 5.1 English track or stereo surround French. Now here's the weird thing. I highly recommend watching this film with the French surround and reading the sub-titles because the 5.1 English dub sucks big time. I would say the the dub is on par with any of Jakie Chan's old movies that he has released in this country. It's just wrong. Trust me on this.
