Private Ryan's 3 brothers die. So, the army sends 8 soldiers to get him back to his mommy. Yeah I know, pretty sappy.

Review:
Now this movie is fucking money! I love war movies and this has got to be one of the very best ones out there. There is some flaws with is but no one is perfect.

Now I've discussed this with my man Nicky Eyes and I've gotta agree with him this time. This film would have been the best fucking war movie if only they chopped off the first and last 5 minutes. Especially that bit with the flag, fucking Yankees are to proud for their own good. The only thing good about those parts is the chick in the back has got a great rack! Talk about gratuitous.

The D-Day opening is fantastic. It's a bit much and some would argue that you don't need it. I say fuck that dat shit! Dat is the best opening to a movie I have seen, hands down! If you're looking for action you came to the right fucking place. Get the fuck outta here! Dat Spielberg mofo knows hot to do it up. With that said the final battle sequence is the bomb! Pardon the pun. Just crank the volume and sit back and enjoy. Da Shit! I tell ya, Da Shit!

Special Features :
Lets get one thing straight right from the get go. The "exclusive message from Steven Spielberg" is a hunk of shit. It was nothing but propaganda for the WWII memorial. BALLS! You don't ask the people for money. You ask the government. The fucking people died for you, or do you not watch your own fucking movies.

The "Into the Breach" was well worth the time. It gives a good insight into the making of the movie and Spielberg's love of making war movies. It was definitely worth the time. The only thing this disc didn't have was a commentary track.

Video:
Holy shit batman! Dis motherfucker looks so good it put tears into my eyes. The picture is so fucking sharp. All the colour and shapes come out looking fantastic. Even though this film isn't full of bright vivid colours. I also have to hand it to Spielberg for all the great shots. It truly adds to the film.

Audio:
Another Bang up job! This disc has some of the best sound I have ever heard. The D-Day intro and the final showdown are an audio masterpiece. The only thing that comes close to this disc is "The Matrix" which is a degenerate gambler.

"What if by some miracle we stay and actually make it out of here? Some day we might look back on this and decide that saving Private Ryan was the one decent thing we were able to pull out of this whole God-awful, shitty mess." -Tom Sizemore
