Review:
I love this fucking movie. It is a classic film which has reached cult status. I can see why too. The film is a black comedy on atomic holocaust. Even though there is a serious side to the film, it is riddled with comic relief. The acting and the comedic timing is absolutely outstanding. This film is the closest Kubrick came to perfection.

The film would have never gone anywhere without the fantastic acting by George C. Scott, Peter Sellers, Sterling Hayden and Slim Pickens. You'll also notice a younger and thinner James Earl Jones in this film. But don't watch this for the voice of Vadar cuz it ain't a big role.

Another thing that makes this film so great is the classic scenes in it. What with that dude riding the bomb and all. Damn, that's what I'm Tallinn' bout! And the fact that Sellers plays three very different roles is fucking great.

Special Features :
Well lets face it, interactive menus and scene access aren't special features in fact if a DVD didn't have this stuff I'd fucking toss it. So, Now I have to razz out the fuckers that put this disc together. Another disc in the box set and it blows donkey cock! Those fucks over there bamboozled us I tell ya. The only real special feature on this disc is the ad for Columbia Pictures DVDs. Thanks guys, but I already bought the fucking disc, you don't have to convince me again.

Video:
The picture is very clean, with very little dust specs or scratches. The only part of the film that is dirty is the news reel footage. But I believe that was intentional, to give the film a real feel to it.

*A bit about the multi-angle aspect ratio. This is a awkward way to shoot a film and I'm not quite sure why it was done, but this is what it all means. Some scenes are full frame and others are widescreen. The aspect ratios range from 1.33 to 1.85. The only thing I didn't like about this was that the widescreen ratios had fuzzy black bars.

Audio:
The audio was only stereo, but hey, this film was probably shot with mono sound. Everything comes out sounding just fine. The speech comes clear and the music is adequate.

“Gentlemen! You can't fight in here, this is the war room!” - Peter Sellers
