synopsis:
Geek boy that everyone picks on falls into a barrel of toxic waste and viola! The toxic avenger is born. He's a funky looking super hero brought to you by the madmen over at Troma. Keep it real boys!

Review:
This is the movie that really put Troma on the map. That doesn't mean it was a good movie. I did enjoy it though, it was funny. It's the type of movie where you can't really take it seriously, otherwise it will suck dried up donkey cock! So keep an open mind on this one. I bought it for 25 cents, so hands down it was a deal!

The story moves along fairly smoothly although I did feel like the movie lasted a little long. funny as it was, if you watch to much of this stuff you'll get fucked in the head. Trust me.

The acting was pure B movie class. Which I feel really adds to the movie. You'd feel sorry for any real actors that were in this movie.

Special features:
I really got to hand it to the guys over at Troma. They put together a real gem when it comes to special features. It took longer to go through the features than it did watching the movie. The commentary was good, that Lloyd won't shut the fuck up. He's a regular motor mouth. Still, he's funny and has character, that goes a long way. So it's bearable to listen to him cuz you never know what he's gonna say next.

The T(roma) I(ntelligence) T(est) or T.I.T. was very funny. As was the virtual tour of the Troma studios. The other trailers on the disc were great to watch. There was a great interview with toxie (the hero). This movie was made for people to have fun watching and the disc seems to hold the same values. All the features are fun to watch even if some are a waste of time.

Video:
The quality of the video isn't that great considering the original source was video tape. It was also originally shot in pan and scan. Hey what do you expect for a low budget movie.

Audio:
There is a Dolby Digital 5.1 soundtrack on this disc! But it's only for the AIX logo. Then it switches to Dolby Digital 1.0 or as I like to call it, mono kife! Still it's forgivable since this movie was originally shot like that.
